I have said multiple times that I am not anti-gun. I am for some common sense to prevail. I am for not allowing anyone to own a weapon that can kill 58 people at a time like in Las Vegas, or 26 at a school or 17 at another school or 13 at a school or 26 at a church or 23 at a WalMart etc.
the weapons in Vegas were military issued, not civilian..he was an arms dealer but nobody wants to have that discussion. You are a hypocrite, you say if guns keep people safe then why are we 20th in gun deaths (without looking at it objectively ie majority of deaths aren’t murder) ..well if you think they don’t keep people safe then get rid of them. As usual though you are more of a do as I say not as I do type person. You once again are a hypocrite when you bring up common sense because you don’t have any, you constantly push an agenda here. You post graphs and articles that you think proves your agenda but it you are only trying to reassure yourself. You can’t regulate away evil. We are getting close to a point where the peaceful people in this country will no longer be peaceful and then people will realize just how peaceful they were. Evil people Will always have a way to do evil things.

Oh Lord, another political dynasty. Didn’t work well for the Bush family. Maybe Michelle will succeed where Mrs Clinton AKA Bimbo Suppressor in charge failed
Can you lead me to info that shows the guy was an arms dealer? or that his weapons were 'military issued'. I did a search for "Was Stephen Paddock an arms dealer" and got nothing that would validate that claim. You seem to have an issue with me posting links to scientific studies, etc but I do not think you have linked anything to support your views.
His brother said he was and I’m not going to bother trying to prove it to you because you will do as you always do when someone points something out against your views, you will just discredit the source. I don’t need a web link to prove anything, nothing about that story adds up or makes any sense whatsoever and as the largest mass shooting in US history it’s odd how the story just went away and the MSM media never brings it up when discussing mass shootings. That tells me all I need to know. I’m not an NRA member and never even considered being one. I don’t see them any different than big pharma, Montesano or Johnson and Johnson aside from the NRA has less blood on its hands than the other 3

That's what crazy Aunt Ester stated! So you and her are in agreement?

When did Liz Landry start posting?
I don't know, but that would make sense wouldn't it? It you read her Facebook page during the first election, she said some pretty hateful things about people she was so friendly with at social events.

Exactly, it’s kinda ironic that the liberal left have become so intolerant that they can’t see their own hypocrisy.

I'm not sure who that person is.
Would it help if I apologized for calling your reading comprehension skills into question? Because that seems to be when you started these semi-personal posts instead of actually having a discussion. I get you were embarrassed that you thought an n=1860 was the year the data came from but its really not a big deal. Everyone makes mistakes.

Like I told RedTail, I'm not asking for an apology. I'm a big boy, so I know how to take it as well as dish it out. Having a senior moment, especially when I read through a lot of material quickly has become more common for me in recent years. I have learned to laugh at myself even in embarrassing moments now, something I was not very good at when I was younger. In concern with semi-personal stuff, I've learned over the past 3 years in debating progressives, it's not uncommon to have my intellectual capacity questioned. It's seems that tactic, along with calling everyone that disagrees with them a racist is in their manual. I've learned to combat fire with fire, and I know how to play dirty. It's simple, let's not go there if we don't want to things to escalate in this folder. Thanks

That's cool. I will still apologize for any personal attacks and will refrain from those in the future. I certainly am not above making mistakes myself especially when reading dry stats and such. I will be happy to engage you on any topic that is interesting as you seem to be well-informed. Good evening to you sir.

Maybe some info to get this back to the OP's intent. I went to the Summer Graduation Friday night. When the National Anthem was played no staff, faculty, or graduates remained sitting or knelt. In the audience you could count those who did not stand on one hand.
It is certainly a hot topic but I don't believe it to be nearly as rampant as many in the media would portray it. I'll stand....but by all means do as you please. And to those who want to get ugly about those that remain sitting keep in mind their are a number of people who have medical conditions that prevent from easily standing. Especially in a sports arena that doesn't have much in the way of hand supports. It is often all they can do to make it to their seat. I've had numerous family members in this exact position through the years. Keep that in mind before you start yelling at them because there might just be another family member willing to make it very difficult for you talk in any fashion for the foreseeable future.

Good points but sitting and kneeling is different. The folks sitting probably have health issues and Im ok with that if they cant stand.

So wait, the world isn’t ending? Good reality check for some.
