There is not much talk because so few are getting tickets. Hard to get excited for a season we will have to watch on TV. Hopefully the team gives us something positive to talk about soon.

He had his ups and downs against all the competition he’s faced. But I’ll say his stuff is pretty damn salty, just needs to put it all together. When he is on he can be unhittable. |

The kid has legit stuff...if he puts it all together he will be a great one. Reminds me of that former all state closer from Abbeville. Guy could throw the ball and javelin. |

Highly recommend joining the Diamond Club if you can. Coach Deggs gave a thorough position by position review on the Zoom this week with a lot of great info. With there being no in-person meetings, it's a little bit of a bummer, but it does make "attending" meetings much easier if you can't get to the ballpark like in the past. Just got to click the link provided and you're there.
Plus, with the obvious financial issues facing all collegiate athletics this year, having a group like the DC is a massive help to the program. Multiple additional hoe games will be on ESPN+ due directly to contributions from the DC.

I watched Durke in the fall. He was consistently 94-96 with a good breaker and good command. They are showing a lot of confidence in him giving him the opening night start. I went back 20 plus years and we did not have a natural freshman starting on opening night.

Not gonna lie , excited too see how he does with such lofty expectations |

If he can settle in he has some heat behind his throws Saw him pitch plenty of games at NV and on the travel ball circuit. Even saw old VIC at a few of the NV games. NVHS didn't really play top tier teams, but the talent is there. I agree just needs to pitch within himself and settle in. |
