Entertaining game, even though Free throws almost cost us the game. Was good to see another player (Garnett) play steady minutes. Russell has really blossomed into a special player this year. Happy to see him go out on senior night like he did. He can walk into traffic after wearing his fork the police shirt last summer First I hear of that... |

Cajuns play serious defense the last two trips down the court and win. FWIW, Marlin passes Davis for SBC wins. Both in 11 years, must be the magic number. That's why he makes 200k more than UTAs coach ! Well, UTA has the deepest bunch of athletes in the conference. After UTA’s president fired the last coach because he didn’t make the NCAA’s enough, UTA is a ton of potential going to waste in a one bid league. Hunter would win the league hands down with those guys. With tonight’s results UL will finish ahead of UTA, regardless of this weekend’s results...Cajuns hold the tiebreaker. |

Cajuns will be 2nd if they win two at Little Rock. In fact if UTA and Ark State split, the cajuns will be 2nd with a split at LR. That is key as 2nd place gets a first round bye in conference tournament. I do think UTA has talent. Sat behind their bench tonight and a couple of UTA fans were near us. After the game they were cursing their coach for getting "out coached' and letting one slip away. Not sure exactly what their guy did strategy wise to lose the game. Cajuns just had the last run in the game. Incident just shows fans are the same everywhere.

Happy to see him go out on senior night like he did. Garnett played lots of minutes due to injury to Jacobi Gordon and Ty Harper having a rough night . Garnett did very well on both ends. Tough to have to rely on a pure freshman walkon in a conference game. He delivered however. His three from the deep right corner ignited the comeback. He also had a tough defensive assignment as he was often on Wells, one of better players for UTA. As for Harper, last two games indicate he is still a freshman. Great performance at ULM and a rough night this evening. Young man will need to become more consistent to realize his potential. I expect him to do jus that with more experience. Players do deserve credit for not quitting when they were down 11 with 10 minutes to go. Kept battling and maintained their composure throughout game. |

Too lame board gave me the same feeling after reading it last night, a few runs the other way, it would be roug or RP. Wilson’s block on the second to last defense set and good defense and fighting for the rebound in the last set secured the win. Whether any of us are happy with Marlin, our team seems to be given the love they showed him post game. |

Their view is regional or coach must go since they lost a series to lowly Cajuns. Keep in mind Tulane baseball only lost 2 games in 2020. Yes, our fans would have similar view had we lost on the court tonight. Many already do and a loss would have been an amplifier. That ULM loss was so frustrating it will take several wins to overcome it. Need to finish season strong to put that terrible memory in background. |

UTA is doo doo the fact they were down says more about the team than than comeback Who cares the whole conference is doodoo bruh Eff that. Big Game Bob told us last week this conference was full of damn good teams. Not like football where it’s just a bunch of garbage teams Napier had to win against. |

Obvious every one in program was thrilled with the way game ended. |
