That is a promising list. I have full faith in Glasco. I believe we will get better every year.

I have this also on raginpagin and they have over 92 replys about this thread. Lots of feedback from different folks. Go check it out. I read some of it, really don't have the time the visit, or keep up with two boards. I decided to move to this one when post started to disappear of Ragin Pagin after the site shut down for a period. I see a lot of old timers still on it, so I may read it every once in a while. Post still disappear lol.

Well now that the 2021 season has come to an end it is never to early to plant the seed for next year team. I can promise you guys that Coach Glasco will already be planning for next years team as soon as tomorrow and in my mind he already started that before today. The elephant in the room that everybody likes to discuss but never wants to bring to the table is do the Cajuns build internally(high school) or keep up the high profile transfer route? It is almost automatic that the Cajuns will be in a regional every year as a 2 or 3 seed anyway, which doesn't matter because they play each other in the first round. With that being said I think the Cajuns need to be building a tournament team every year and it starts with needing two elite pitchers. In my mind these are the two ways the Cajuns can go for the future: 1. Building yearly teams instead of programs which might be here to stay in college softball for mid majors whether you like it or not? As of now there is 650 kids in the portal and it is about to explode between now and fall ball. Or 2.Build internal with high school kids and sprinkle in a need or needs with a few transfers. Which route should the Cajuns go for the future and beyond? Both ways have pro's and con's. This should be a real interesting thread. Comment away. When Glasco took over the program, most of the HS athletes for the 2018,2019 and 2020 classes were signed or committed. He signed a number of transfers his first few classes, while focusing on the HS Classes of 2021, 2022 and 2023 going forward. He's signed one of the top hs classes in the country for 2021 coming in this fall. He has already taken two transfers that I'm aware of including a good pitching prospect. I think going forward, the program will get better. JMO Well looky here. If it is not JMV’s account that is now deleted - the same account that was changed this week to attempt to attack Vic. So I guess now JMV will claim that Vic has been posting as JMV since the inception of this board. Folks, the true colors of JMV are really coming out now. Looks like ole JMV has really soiled on himself now.
